About

“I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.”

– Oscar Wilde

Hello! My name is Abi, I’m currently a high school student living in NYC and as the website name suggest a MASSIVE broadway freak. I’ve been doing theatre for many years and I’ve lived in Manhattan and being seeing broadway shows for twice as long. The reason I began doing theatre was because of a show I had seen on broadway (in case you’re wondering, it was Aladdin!) so it has always held a special place in my heart. So the real question is why should you trust me?

Well the perspective I come from is important for tourists or anyone wanting to see a broadway show. There are currently TWENTY-FOUR shows on broadway and ticket prices are NOT cheap, they can range from prices between 75-500 EACH. With those kind of prices you don’t just want to see any show, you wanna see a fun, entertaining show that you can write home about and this website will help you do just that.

Many different people will tell you whether or not broadway is in a bad phase right now… But the truth is within every pile of dirt lies a diamond and on broadway there are many but it can be tricky to find them. I have seen over 20 broadway shows in my life and some have changed my life, made cry, laugh, and have the most amazing time of my life while others have been forgettable, boring, and a down-right waste of money. My hope is that this blog will ensure you never make the same mistakes I did.

I’ll be giving reviews on specific shows, guides on where to buy tickets, where to sit, how to stage door, my weekly top picks of what shows I think are worth your time and so much more. I hope this website is helpful and I hope you stick around.
